Background

The CTA program is a global business development program by Global Affairs Canada’s Trade Commissioner Service. They wanted to support Canadian digital health entrepreneurs who had traction in their home country and were looking to expand into the United States by creating an 12 week program to help them get up to speed on the healthcare landscape in America, meet with potential investors, and develop relationships with mentors in the US who could help them cross the border.

Approach

We had a heavy agenda on our hands and three distinct audiences to manage as they engaged and learned from each other. We were also challenged with creating an engaging remote program during the pandemic.

Impact

The CTA program reports over 574 participants collectively garnering $646 million in capital, $238 million in revenue and the creation of 1,128 strategic partnerships and 2,529 new jobs.
